Mind Awake Knowledge Academy School is located on plot number 17509, Chibolya extension, a ghetto, in the capital city of Lusaka, Zambia in Central Africa. The academy was incepted in the year 2001 by coming soon ministries a para-church community based organisation, to meet educational needs of left-out orphaned and vulnerable children in the ghetto whose parents died of AIDS.


Consequently, the school is founded on the precepts of concern, compassion and care to the needy and hurting.
The Academy considers education as a cardinal objective, that must be pursued vigorously to the maximum by all. Therefore,

Mind Awake aims to:

a. Provide access to quality education
b. To promote and support acquisition of education
c. Change the school environment
d. Counteract the factors and offshoots of ignorance
e. Foster international school links


The academy is registered as an Educational institution affilliated with the Goverment ministry of education in Lusaka with pupils from kindergarden to grade eight, aged between 3 and 19 years, whose current total number is 359, boys and girls with 7 teachers 3 males and 4 females.
