Claudine Curry and Ingrid Arriagada will visit Turkey between 29 May - 6 June 2010 to teach American, Soul and Hispanic cultures to the Turkish students.

At Bolton Academy, Claudine Curry and Ingrid Arriagada (kindergarten teachers) worked with their students to make and fly 3 different types of kites. These kindergarteners speak Spanish as their first language, and they are learning English as their second language. Children wrote about their kites in English, Spanish, and Turkish. These two teachers and their students enjoyed completing the "My Blue Kite" project and researching information about their partners in Ankara, Turkey.

"One of the great strengths of the United States is... we have a very large Christian population - we do not consider ourselves a Christian nation or a Jewish nation or a Muslim nation. We consider ourselves a nation of citizens who are bound by ideals and a set of values."
