When the children of the neigborhood saw Hodja coming from the vineyard with 2 basketfuls of grapes on his donkey, they gathered around him and asked him to give them some. Hodja picke up a bunch of grapes, cut it up into pieces and gave each child a piece.

"You have so much, but you gave us so little, " the children complained.

"It doesn't make any difference whether you have a basketful or a small piece. They all taste the same," Hodja remarked.
